Mark is a graduate of Jefferson State College with a degree in Funeral Service Education and Mortuary Science. He is National Board Certified, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director, Alabama Licensed Embalmer, Alabama-authorized Pre-need agent, and Alabama authorized Cremation Specialist.
Mark is a member of the National Funeral Director’s Association and the Alabama Funeral Director’s Association. Mark was awarded the CFSP designation (Certified Funeral Service Practitioner) by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice. He has over three hundred hours of continuing education.
Mark is a member of Wooley Springs Baptist Church. He enjoys fishing and all sports.
After graduating from Lincoln County High School, Brooke earned her Associates degree in computer science at Motlow State Community College. Following graduation at Motlow State, she began working towards a Bachelor's degree at Athens State University. It was at this time she began feeling a tug on her heart to venture onto a new path. Brooke's ultimate passion is helping and serving others especially when their hearts are heavily burdened. In this journey at Legacy, one of her goals is to make a difference in the lives of others and all across the community. Another passion she has is for cosmetology. For the past eight years, she has studied and practiced different techniques for applying cosmetics.
In February of 2020, Brooke earned her insurance license with a line of authority in life.
In May of 2021, Brooke graduated from Jefferson State Community College with an Associates in Applied Science in Funeral Service Education. Brooke is National Board certified. She is a licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer in the state of Alabama. She is also a licensed Pre-Need Sales Agent.
Lisa Goins is from Toney, AL. She works as a staff member of the Madison County School System. She has two daughters and a son-in-law. Lisa loves gardening and cooking. Lisa is a valuable team member.
