Austin Rehan Thompson

It is with great sadness that the Thompson family announces the passing of their beloved son, Austin Rehan Thompson. Austin passed away on October 2, 2021 at age 20 in Madison, Alabama. He is survived by his daughter Alethea; father Jeff Thompson; mother Nilmini Thompson; brothers Michael and Brian; half-sisters Lisa and Stephanie; half-brother Jeffrey; grandmother Soma; grandmother Beverly; a host of other family and close friends.
Austin had an adventurous and caring spirit. He loved traveling, playing golf with his pops(dad), shooting, ATV riding, snowmobiling, racing cars, and hanging out with family and friends. Austin had a unique love of both military and world history. Austin enjoyed learning different languages and was studying Japanese. Austin also enjoyed spending time with his daughter, creating everlasting memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 12:00 to 2:00
