Viola Estelle Taylor, a resident of Huntsville, Alabama, died peacefully at Hospice Family Care on March 29, 2025. She was 85 years old and lived a full life. Viola is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Myrtle Wessler of New York. She is also preceded in death by grandson Benjamin Austin Currier of Georgia. Viola was born on February 25, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York. She grew up in Brooklyn with a 2-year stint in Panama while her father worked on the Panama Canal. She was married and began her family in Brooklyn but later moved to the Hamptons where she lived for many years. She later remarried an Army sergeant which caused many moves to include Clarksville, Tennessee; Büdingen, Germany and Springfield, Georgia.
