Suzanne Dabbs Reeves

It is with great sadness that the family of Suzanne Dabbs Reeves announces her passing at Madison Hospital on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the age of 62 years. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, and sister.

Suzanne will be lovingly remembered by her children, Sean Williams, Adam Williams, Daniel Williams (Bianca), Erica Reeves, Adam Reeves (Michelle), Becky Reeves, Joey Reeves (Mishay); grandchildren, D.J. Williams, Lennox Williams, Lorelei Reeves, Clark Reeves; brother, Doug Dabbs (Ramona); niece, McKenna Szaniawski (Tom), nephew, Douglas Dabbs (Nicole); her loyal companions Rudy and Bella, as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Guss and Joyce Dabbs; husband, Mark Reeves.

Suzanne graduated from Belmont College in 1982 with an Associate of Science Degree, then proceeded to obtain her Nursing License. After completing, she mastered many different roles in the medical field that could not go unnoticed due to her dedication. With more than 35 years in the industry that she truly adored, she decided to retire in 2024. Many co-workers of hers would describe her as being compassionate, extremely caring, intelligent, kind, and strong willed. She often told us to "Always do your best." 

Suzanne cherished spending time and creating delicious meals for the family with her late husband. Cheering "Roll Tide" for Alabama football on Saturdays was something she always looked forward to. She thoroughly enjoyed watching her plants grow, birds come and go, while her cinnamon scented candle would glow.

A celebration of life will be held February 9, 2025 at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home located 16 Hughes Rd Madison, AL 35758.
