Stephen Bo Rosberg

Stephen Bo Rosberg, age 58 of Huntsville, unexpectedly passed away on the evening of January 6, 2025 in a wreck on I-565. He is survived by his parents, Bo and Audrey, and his brother Lars, all of whom reside in Madison.

Stephen was born in his father’s native country of Sweden, but the family relocated to the U.S. when he was a small child. He spent most of his formative years growing up in Knoxville, TN and completed high school there. In 1992, he graduated from Athens State University with a degree in Business Administration.

He moved to Atlanta to start his career and worked for Delta for many years. Later on he transitioned his career into hotel management. In 2019, he moved back to Huntsville to work for Candlewood Suites and Sonesta International Hotels. His co-manager Jeff said, “Stephen was a pleasure to work with and the most reliable person. He was always willing to pick up shifts for all of his co-workers and would even make it to 2 pm staff meetings after working the night shift.”

Stephen was an utterly unique person with riotous sense of humor. He was also extremely kind and went out of his way to help others. He loved historic architecture and lived in historic homes that he renovated himself. He had an extensive collection of art and antiques. He also loved animals and had 2 cats.

All of Stephen’s friends and family are devastated. A private service was held for the immediate family. Please keep the Rosberg family in your prayers.
