Bob served honorably in the US Army and retired after almost 21 years. During that time, he had assignments with Pershing Missile Units located in Germany. Among his highlights with Pershing, was conducting a successful test of the Pershing missile system at Cape Canaveral.
He served in Southeast Asia during Desert Storm with the VII Corps Artillery. He was handpicked to serve on the Airborne Battlefield Command and Control Center as the VII Corps representative to the air borne staff. His military career was full of many highlights and awards but his biggest accomplishment and joy was his son, Robert.
