Matthew Joseph Fritz

Matthew Fritz, 27, passed away suddenly of natural causes on January 31, 2025.

He was born in Lake in the Hills, IL to Alan and Heather Fritz. His life’s journey took from Illinois to Savannah, Georgia to Madison, Alabama. He was a graduate of Bob Jones High School and attended University of Alabama in Huntsville. He was a kind hearted loving son, brother and friend. You could always count on Matthew for a kind word, a helpful hand and support of any kind. He dearly loved his family, friends and his girlfriend, Sarah Nunley. He will be missed and we will never be the same without him.

He is survived by his parents Alan and Heather Fritz, brothers Brian Fritz and Mark Fritz, girlfriend Sarah Nunley, grandparents Fred and Cynthia McCarthy, Grandmother Beverly Fritz and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Cletus Fritz and Uncle Kevin Fritz.

Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11:00AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Hughes Road,m Madison, AL. A funeral mass will follow at 12:00PM. Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens, Rt. 72 Huntsville, AL. Lunch will be provided at the church following the burial. All are welcome.
