Margorie Lou Stokes

Margorie Lou Stokes, born Margorie Lou Haynes on January 24 1950, in Cullman Alabama, passed away on July 31, 2024, in Decatur, Alabama. She is survived by her son Barry Stokes, daughter-in-law Lora Stokes, grandchild Jackson Stokes, and grandchild Josie Stokes.

In addition to her immediate family, Margorie is survived by her sister Darlene and Delton Perdue, sister Betsy and Chris Frazier, sister Janie Azmitia, sister Nancy and Dale Hinson, sister Alice Haynes, brother John Haynes, sister Iwanda and Phil Taylor, sister Cindy and Steve Wilbanks, sister Mary and Don Craig, along with 21 nieces and nephews and 30 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Margorie was preceded in death by her father Morgan Jackson Haynes, mother Essie Donella Nobinger, sister Violet Cranford, a niece, and two nephews.

During her lifetime, Margorie touched the hearts of many with her compassion and grace. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace.
