Larry Lee Shehorn

Larry Lee Shehorn, age 60, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 19, 2023. He fought a long and hard battle with cancer for several years. He is now healed and free of pain and suffering. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Keneth, and mother, Nancy. He is survived by his wife, Tracy Shehorn, daughters Deanna Shehorn (CJ), Anna Shehorn (Austin), Ashley Shehorn (Will), sons Spencer Dollar (Chelsea), Brett Dollar (Kellie), grandchildren Desi Shehorn, Dawson Combs, Wyatt Dollar, Amelia Hart, great grandchildren, Giovanni Dickerson, Viviana Combs, siblings Clint Shehorn (Lisa), Sherry Farris (Scott) ,Kim Clinard, his beloved dog Bama, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family. 

Larry was born in Lincoln, Illinois on December 19, 1962. 

He was the foundation of our family. We have so many great memories together because of his ability to bring people together and celebrate the smallest things in life. He is known in our family as being a great cook and very competitive on games nights. He loved watching Alabama Football and races on Sundays. 

Please join us as we celebrate his life on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 2:30 PM at the Limestone Sheriffs Arena, 18118 AL Hwy 99 Athens, AL 35614. 

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made in Larry’s honor to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
