Born in 1941 in Elizabethtown, N.C., Dianne was a long-time Madison resident who loved Jesus, her family, and caring for others through teaching Bible studies, making crafts, and music. She used her education from Radford University and Pellissippi State Technical Community College in her help to others. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Madison, where she taught Sunday School and participated in other ways. She was generous with her time and talents over the years, including work with Bible Study Fellowship, Gideons International, and other charitable organizations.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Roy Madison, Jr. and her sister, Jeannie Ham Baroutsis. Len and Dianne were happily married for nearly 59 years with two sons, Andy (Beth) and Chris (Emily), five grandsons, Will (Lydia), Nate, Luke, Joshua, and Caleb, and two great-grandchildren, Becca Kate and Christopher. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Bernice Ham, and her sister, Linda Ham Shelton.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 9-11am at First Baptist Church of Madison, 4257 Sullivan St. in Madison, AL. The funeral service will follow at 11am also at FBC of Madison. After the funeral, family members only will gather at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
