John Hildreth died 26 February 2023 after a long battle with Neuroendocrine cancer. He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida 1 March 1949. His parents were Col Harris Hildreth (1910-1956) and Nell Gay Pearson Hildreth (1916-2000).
He loved everything mechanical, and was an excellent machinist and built superb high-performance Harley Davidson motors for racing and the street. He also loved riding motorcycles (both in the dirt and on the street), hunting, camping, and scuba diving.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Terri McCurdy Hildreth, two children: Jason (Julina) of Post Falls, Idaho, and Laura (Neshawn) Roland of Winchester, Indiana; seven grandchildren: Collin (Acacia) and Cameron Hildreth of Post Falls; Elsa, Sam, and Gus Anderson, along with Eli and Theron Roland of Winchester; and sister Margret Hildreth of Pensacola, Florida. Extended family members include Randy Parker of Georgia and Beverly Nichols and family of Mississippi.
His ashes will be scattered on his beloved Gulf Coast at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to HH Family Hospice in Huntsville, Alabama.
