Janice Sue Kantmann

Janice Kantmann, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on March 8th 2025, at the age of 86. A dedicated homemaker, Janice lived a life centered on love, care, and devotion to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born on July 31st 1938, in Owensboro, KY, Janice spent her life creating a warm and welcoming home for her children and grandchildren. Her unwavering love for her family was evident in everything she did, whether cooking her signature dishes, offering a listening ear, or simply being present for every important moment.

Janice's greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones. Her laughter and kindness were a constant source of comfort, and her wisdom and nurturing spirit will live on through the generations she leaves behind. She was the heart of her family, and her legacy of love, strength, and selflessness will never be forgotten. Janice was involved in her church and loved her church family. Her and Walter taught Sunday school for many years, and she cooked many meals in the kitchen.

Janice is survived by her children Michael Kantmann and Gregory Kantmann (Lori Kantmann) and stepdaughter Cynthia Kitrell (John Kitrell) and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Frische (Dan Frische), her grandchildren Suzanne Kantmann, Mark Kantmann Jr (Taylor Kantmann), Felicia Brewer (Brent Brewer), Hannah Kantmann, Collin Kantmann, Dylan Kantmann, Kathryn Comunale (Matt Comunale), Amy (Brett Redman) and her great-grandchildren Aiden Kantmann, Cooper Moore, Aubrey Brewer, Madison Brewer, William Comunale, Reece Comunale, Ruby Redman, Grace Redman, Scarlett Kantmann and Lydia Kantmann. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter Kantmann Jr and son Mark Kantmann Sr.
