Emanuela Nancy Altino

September 4, 1946 — November 22, 2024

Emanuela “Millie” Altino, 78, passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on November 22, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s dementia.

A native of Brooklyn, New York, she lived in Port St. Lucie, Florida, for 44 years before moving to Huntsville in 2017.

She was a loving mother who adored children. She loved her job as an aide/clerk working in the Exceptional Student Education office at Northport Middle School (Port St. Lucie) for many years before her retirement.

She was an avid bowler for many years and, later in life, enjoyed playing Bunco, bingo, and trying her luck at the casino slot machines now and again. She loved music and dancing, and she would often listen to the oldies and, of course, Elvis Presley songs – even in her final days.

She was predeceased by her father Vincent Cirlincione, her mother Mary [Amitrano] Cirlincione, her sister Grace [Cirlincione] Campanella, and her brother Jerome Cirlincione.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Altino of Huntsville; her son Robert [Dawn] Altino of Port St. Lucie, Florida; and her grandchildren Anthony Altino, Connor Cheslock, and Allura Cheslock.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home at 6:00 P.M. with a visitation following the funeral service. To celebrate Millie's memory, the family requests guests to wear something blue as that was Millie's favorite color.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
