Colin Andrew McFarland

Colin Andrew McFarland, 57, of Huntsville, Alabama died peacefully at home on September 20, 2023.  He is preceded in death by his father, William Bartley McFarland, grandparents, Edward and Gladys Hughes, and William and Semaira McFarland. He is survived by his loving mother, Marie McFarland, brothers Stephen W. McFarland, (Diane) and Neil D. McFarland (Kathy), son, Timothy McFarland and daughter, Claire McFarland, as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Colin was a Veteran of the U.S. Army where he served honorably. He was a graduate of Marbury High School, Marbury, Alabama and Georgia Southern University, Statesboro, Georgia.

Colin moved to the Huntsville area several years ago to be closer to family. He loved his family and was a loving and caring person who was a classic collector of books and music and enjoyed them both to the fullest. He was also very artistically talented in his personal, school and military life. He was loved dearly by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service is planned for 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home.
