Christian Anthony Wilhold

In loving memory of Christian Anthony Wilhold, born July 25th, 1991, in Huntsville, Alabama. Christian was taken from us far too soon. His radiant soul graced this world for 31 precious years. It is with heavy hearts and profound sorrow that we share the news of his passing on June 11th, 2023. Christian’s life was a testament to love, resilience, and the profound impact one can have on those around them.

Christian was not only a remarkable son but also a devoted father to his two cherished sons, Caden (12) and Colten (8). His love for them knew no bounds. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Ann Michael and Juanita Martinez. Grandfathers Herbert Kimbrough and Gilbert Wilhold, Sr. Step grandmother Judy Kimbrough. Aunts Anita Kimbrough and Missy DeGroff and Uncle Joey Michael. Their presence in his life brought immeasurable love and guidance, and their memory will forever remain etched in his heart. 

Left to navigate the profound loss are Christian’s grieving mother and father, Shanna Springer and Gilbert Wilhold, Jr. His stepmother Stacy Wilhold. His beloved sons Caden and Colten. His sisters Kayla Hyatt and Noel Springer. His nephew Clyde Haralson. Step grandmother Debra Gilliland, Marge Wilhold and stepgrandfather Robert Gilliland. Many aunts and uncles, Eric Kimbrough, Sherrie Sullins, Alan Kimbrough (Billie Jo), Roger Clemons (Jill), Russ DeGroff and Chrissy Croft (Matt). Christian’s absence will be felt deeply by his extended family, cousins, and all those lives he touched.

Christian Anthony Wilhold’s spirit radiated kindness, compassion, and a genuine love for others. As we say goodbye, let us carry forward the legacy he leaves behind. May his memory inspire us to cherish our loved ones, celebrate life’s blessings, and find solace in the embrace of family and friends during times of sorrow.

The visitation will be held at Legacy Funeral Home in Madison, Alabama on June 21st, 2023 from 2-3 pm. Services will follow at 3:00 pm.
