Benjamin David-Douglas Keith

Benjamin David-Douglas Keith, 27, of Neenah, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. A memorial ceremony will be held in his honor at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison, Alabama. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm prior to the ceremony.

Ben was born in Madison, Alabama on October 23, 1995. He graduated from Bob Jones High School as a National Merit Scholar and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering from Auburn University. From a young age, Ben excelled musically. He became a member of the Discovery Middle School Concert Band and was selected as a member of the school’s jazz band. In high school, Ben was a trombone player in the Bob Jones Marching Band. In college, he was a member of the Auburn University Marching Band as well as the Auburn Jazz Ensemble. Ben was always learning to master a new instrument and could play over ten different instruments.

An Eagle Scout before graduating high school, Ben excelled in leadership, duty and service to others and his community. For the past several years Ben pursued his passion in manufacturing and became an extremely successful metallurgist. Always loyal and dedicated to his friends, fellow students and workers, he was very much loved by his family and everyone who knew him.

Ben was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Good, and grandparents Douglas and Elizabeth Keith (Talladega, Alabama).

He is survived by his parents Ronald L. and Amy G. Keith, sister Kayleigh Elizabeth Keith, grandmother Kay Good, uncles and aunts Charles D. and Leigh Ann Keith, Ellis and Ellen Jones, Chance and Melonie Britton, John and Amanda Bussey, numerous cousins and extended family.
