Barbara Ann Stephens Conroy, June 12, 1938 - July 3, 2023

Barbara Ann Stephens Conroy, 85 of Madison, passed away July 3, 2023.

Ann was born June 12, 1938 in Toney, Alabama. She graduated from S. R. Butler High School in 1956. She married her husband, John K Conroy, in 1961 and they lived in Minnesota and Florida before settling in Northport, Alabama. She enjoyed sewing, painting, gardening, and reading mystery novels. She moved back back to Madison in 2019 and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Ruby Stephens, and her husband of 51 years.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Kristy Stevenson (Cory), granddaughter Emery Stevenson, brother Conn Stephens (Judy), and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Services will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory in Madison, Alabama on Friday, July 7, 2023.  Visitation will be from 10AM - 12:00PM, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM, and an interment following at Charity Cemetery in Hazel Green, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your favorite charity or Ann's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
