In Loving Memory of Anita Hopper

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Anita Hopper, who left us on February 5, 2025. She was known for her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering support for all.
Born on June 6, 1947, she was a devoted wife to Seybourn Hopper. A loving mother to her children. A proud grandmother of her grandchildren. She spent her life devoted to her family and caring for others through the education of young people. Before following her true calling in nursing, which unknown to her at the time would lead her to meet her future husband of 49 years.
Family meant everything to Anita. She is survived by her daughters: Melissa Hopper, Lara Brown. And her son Russell Hopper. Her grandchildren Gavin Hopper, Jack Brown, Gemma Brown, Katie Hopper, Adam Hopper and Courtney Hopper. Anita is proceeded in death by her husband Seybourn Hopper Jr, and her mother Lillian Farris. Anita, always put family first and created a safe and welcoming home filled with love, laughter, and warmth.
Anita’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and service to others. Anita's stories, love and compassion for others will be cherished and passed down through generations.
A celebration of Anita’s life will be held on February 13,2025 at Legacy Funeral Home at 2pm. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor and remember the incredible life of Anita Hopper.
Anita’s departure leaves a void in our hearts, but her spirit will live on in the memories we share and the lives she has touched. As we say goodbye, we are reminded of the profound impact one person can have on the world, and we are grateful for the time we had with Anita.
You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
