Angelika Jutta Bradberry

Angelika Jutta Bradberry, affectionately known as Angie, passed away on October 31, 2024, in Athens, Alabama. Born on July 20, 1951, in Nuremberg, Germany, she brought joy, laughter, and compassion into the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Angie dedicated much of her life working as a server, her warm spirit shone through her interactions with customers and coworkers alike. She found immense joy in nurturing the children in the nursery on Sundays, where her caring spirit shined brightly.

A spunky personality with a zest for life, Angie loved spending time with her family. Perhaps one of the most cherished memories held by her granddaughters is a moment of pure laughter when they enjoyed a screening of "Night at the Museum." Angie laughed so heartily that her joy resonated throughout the entire theater, creating a memorable experience that they will carry with them forever.

Angie was not only devoted to her family but also had a profound love for animals, and her dog, Haley, held a special place in her heart. Her nurturing nature extended to all living creatures, reflecting her compassionate character.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her deeply, including her son, John Schmidt, and her daughter-in-law, Linda Schmidt. Her granddaughters—Kayla Thomason, Kimberly Solomon, and Koribeth Rouse—along with her great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Naomi, Ava, Ana, and Brynn, will remember her with great affection. She is also survived by her sister, Petra Emery, and brothers, David Clement and Steven Clement.

Angie was preceded in death by her mother, Brigetta Clement, and her brother, Donnie Clement.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will continue to inspire those who knew her, and she will always hold a cherished place in the hearts of her family and friends.
