With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved child, Amos Setefano Soli, on May 14, 2024, a few weeks shy of his second birthday. Amos brought immeasurably joy and light into our lives with his bubbly personality, radiant smile, and friendly fist bumps. Although his time with us was too short, the love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts. We believe our sweet Amos is healed and whole in the arms of our loving Savior Jesus Christ.
Amos is survived by his loving parents, Abraham Frank Soli and Malama Diana Soli, as well as his six brothers: Abraham Frank Jr. (12), Caleb Scatt (11), Melchizedek Titus (9), Matthias Glenn (8), Gabriel Andrew (5), and Zechariah Bell (3). He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and a host of friends that prayed diligently for him. Little Amos was deeply loved and cared for by his health care team at St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, and Vanderbilt Hospital.
Little Amos enjoyed watching Disney’s Moana and Encanto movies. He loved dancing every time he heard music and being gently rocked to sleep. Little Amos was fond of participating in family Bible time, mimicking his brothers reciting scriptures, leading songs, and singing along to “This little light of mine.” He loved throwing a ball around, coloring the walls or anything nearby once he got hold of crayons, and building a tower with blocks then smashing them down.
A special service to honor and celebrate the precious life of Amos Setefano Soli will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the West Huntsville Church of Christ, located at 1519 Old Monrovia Rd. N.W., Huntsville, AL 35806. We warmly invite friends and family to join us in remembering a life that, though brief, was truly a gift to us all.
Visitation will begin at 1 PM followed by the service at 2PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, to help care for and find cures for children battling AT/RT cancer.
