Alexander Kosis

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Alexander (Al) Kosis, 92 of Madison, AL, on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He is the son of August and Marcella Kosis from Sagamore, PA. born June 4, 1932 and Al was preceded by his death of his nine siblings.

He served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1955 in the 96th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and was employed for 30 years with NASA in Huntsville, AL. as a Government civilian before retiring in 1989 to become the owner of the Madison Furniture Gallery in Madison, AL and fully retiring to pursue his hobby collecting classic cars.

Al is survived by his wife, Mary McClain Kosis of 67 years of marriage, son Gary, his wife Jackie, and son Todd and his wife Tammy.

A visitation will be held on 26 September 2024 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Legacy Chapel Funeral Home, 16 Hughes Road, Madison, AL 35758 with the funeral service to be held 27 September 2024 at 11:00 am at Huntsville Memory Gardens, 6810 University Dr NW, Hwy 72 W, Huntsville, AL. 35806.
