Gordon Lee Williams, born in Anderson, IN on August 27, 1946, passed away to be with the Lord our Savior on September 22, 2022, at the age of 76. He later moved his family to Madison, AL where he lived out the rest of his life doing all the things he loved. He always loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, and camping. He was good with his hands and always in the garage listening to his radio and building something new for his wife or daughters. He was a proud veteran and served his country well in the Vietnam War under the United States Army. After the war he made a career with Chrysler and retired after 35 years of employment.
Gordon is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Edna Williams, and his siblings Rosemary and Donald Gene Williams, and Velma Young.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda, of nearly 51 years of marriage. He was the best daddy ever to his daughters Carrie Owens (Michael) and Sherrie White (Darin). He was a wonderful Pawpaw to 10 grandchildren as well. Jacob, Kaylee (Zachary), Nicholas, Ethan, Cooper, Aidan, Ashton, Gabrielle, Kenan, and Draven. As well as his sister, Altha Gorden (Don) and many cousins, nieces. and nephews.
He loved everyone with his huge heart and would do anything for anyone. His hugs, his smiles, and his laughter were ones to never be forgotten. He is loved so Big and is missed so much already by his family and friends.
Celebration of his life will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison, AL on Monday September 26, 2022. Visitation will start at 1PM with Funeral Service to start at 3PM. No graveside service will be held at this time.
