Georgette Therese Legere

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Georgette Legere, a loving and devoted wife, mother, memere, sister, and aunt. Georgette departed us on Monday, May 23, 2022, at the age of 80.

 

Born to Antonio and Yvonne Bourassa of Lowell, MA on October 31, 1941, she was a shining light full of positivity and energy, always smiling and looking for fun in every adventure and in every person.

 

Always loving to her husband Ernie, son Brian, daughter-in-law Holly, grandsons Tyler, Connor and Corey, brother Paul Bourassa, and sister Jackie Sullivan.  Our love for her will always be held in our hearts, along with all the fond memories. She loved to cheer on her grandsons in whatever sports or activities they participated in.  She also loved spending time with family and friends, whether it be eating, thrifting, playing games, traveling, or simply talking. 

 

She loved to cheer on the Red Sox and Patriots with her family and friends. She was a baton leader at Lowell High School, a secretary at Tyngsborough High School, and a secretary and bookkeeper for LL Flooring for many years. 

 

In lieu of flowers, Georgette loved to contribute to the following charities: WoundedWarriorProject.org and StJude.org.
