James Robert Pearson, Jr.

James Robert (Bobby) Pearson, 71, departed this life on June 15, 2022 at Madison, AL in the home he and Melanie built together. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and younger brother: James, Clara and Michael Pearson.  He is survived by his wife, Melanie (39 years); his children, Jeff, Jenny, Janie, Jodie, and Justin (Adriana); his brother Ron Pearson (Zan); grandson, Jacob (Jeff), nephews Brian and Greg; great nephew, Isaiah; great nieces, Holly, Makenna, Aisley; cousins, Nadine Dunaway, Linda Therber, Maurice Smith, Anita Dobbs, Linda Coop and Tony Allen.

Bobby was a tremendously loving and fiercely protective husband, father, grandfather and brother, always seeking what was best for the ones he loved. He was a master problem solver with an inspiring and motivating do-it-yourself attitude. He was a chemist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, astronomer, gardener, electrician, carpenter, motorcyclist, bird rescue enthusiast, mentor, and so much more. His humor, desire to learn, and his love for animals, especially his 4 surviving golden retrievers, will be immortalized through his children and grandchildren for generations to come.

His life and memory will live on forever.
