Daniel John Kondik
September 16, 1952 — June 3, 2022
Daniel "Dan" John Kondik of Rogers, AR, received his
heavenly reward on June 3", 2022, at the age of 69. Born in
Cleveland, OH, Dan started his career with Kmart in 1970. In
the mid-1980s, he began working at Walmart, until retiring in
2008. He enjoyed his retirement years riding his Honda
motorcycle and spending time with friends and family, whom he
adored. It was said by many that Dan was one of the kindest,
gentlest souls they knew. Dan was preceded in death by his
parents, John and Blanche Kondik. He is survived by his
brothers, Rick Kondik (Dianne) of Madison, John (Peggy)
Kondik of Huntsville; niece, Jennifer (Aaron) Hendricks of
Ardmore, and their children, Dan's great-niece and nephews,
John David, Anna Grace, and Michael Owen. He is also
survived by his sweet canine companion, Tionse. Visitation will
be held Friday, June 10th, 2022 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at St. John
the Baptist Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated
at 2:30 PM, with the Rite of Committal and burial to follow at
Madison Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to
St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
