Robert James Wasser, Jr.

SERVICE UPDATE! A mass will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  It will begin at 8:30 AM.

Robert James Wasser, Jr. of Madison, Alabama, passed on April 27, 2022, at the age of 30.  Robert was born on January 15, 1992, in Houston Texas.

Once in a lifetime, we meet a wonderful person like Robert James Wasser, Jr. He was an excellent soccer forward, achieved a 3^rd degree black belt in Taekwondo by the age of 16, worked diligently on his engineering bachelor’s degree at University of Alabama in Huntsville, loved to ride motorcycles, could out fish a Bass Pro Angler, taught martial arts for MMA fighting at the local YMCA, everyone he met was a friend, worked with his nephews to become soccer players and fishermen, took excellent care of his parents and many other family members, along with his Yorkie dog, Maya. He had his own solar business, for off the grid mobile applications, with patented designs.  But, all too soon this beautiful star’s light came to an end. He will be eternally loved by his dad, Robert James Wasser, Sr., his mom, Margaret Susan “Peggy” Wasser, his sisters Kimberly Renee Wasser-Smith and Kristie Lynn Wasser, brother-in -law, Daniel Smith, nephews,  Alexander Chown, Grayson Chown, nieces, Annalise Chown, and Madison Smith, step nephews, Andrew and George Smith, step nieces, Bailey and Sadie Smith, all residing in Madison Alabama, and many cousins, uncles and aunts along with all of the people that were lucky enough to get to know him. He did so much in his short time on earth. May he rest easy in heaven with the Lord, our God.

Legacy Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory in Madison, Alabama, will be hosting a visitation for Robert on May 4^th, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church will host a mass on Friday, July 15, 2022, beginning at 8:30 AM.  The address is 1057 Hughes Rd, Madison, AL 35758.
