Lorraine Celeste Sztenderowicz

March 11, 1948 — January 29, 2022

Lorraine Celeste Sztenderowicz 3/11/1948 to 1/29/2022, of Madison, Alabama (formally of Fremont, California) born and raised in Phila. PA where she married her love and best friend, Joseph who passed 1/15/2022.  Together they raised 10 children.

Survived by son David husband of Midge, son Harry husband of Lori, son Joseph Jr. husband of Helen, son Matthew husband of Kelly, daughter Lillian wife of Mike, daughter Teffany, daughter Louise wife of Dean, son Jeff husband of Amy, son John husband of Patti, daughter Sandra.  Grandchildren David, Steven, Peter, Anna, Sara, Carl, Suzie, Laura, Danny, Heather, Matthew, Michael husband of Sue, John III, Madeline, Joseph, Jacob, Lillian, Lexi, Emily, John, Blake husband of Hannah, Aaron, Beau, and Brody.

Lorraine in her younger years enjoyed playing professional darts across the country and even held the title of Ms. Philadelphia of the Quaker City English Dart League. She made many friends in her travels.  Yahtzee was the game to play with Mom. Our Mom took pride in bringing Dad’s dream of building a beautiful home in which they shared with their children and grandchildren through-out the years.  Mom enjoyed teaching the grandchildren crafts, cooking, and speaking Polish. 

Visitation and Mass will take place On Thursday 2/3/2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church 1055 Hughes Road Madison, AL 35758.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 with a mass at 11:00.  Burial will take place immediately following at Faith Memorial Cemetery Madison, Al 35758.
