Carol Ann Graham passed away peacefully on Monday Jan. 3, 2022 at the age of 76. Originally from Lockport, Illinois, Carol lived in many different locations throughout her life. Her early adult years were spent as a devoted mother and military spouse, later serving as a Property Manager for apartment and hotel complexes. A 15-year Madison resident, Carol served the community as a beloved Teacher’s Aide at Mill Creek Elementary school and most recently a valued Dollar General employee. An extremely loving, hardworking, funny and kind woman, Carol had a very tiny stature but a gigantic heart. She always had a warm smile and fun conversation ready for anyone she met.
She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Agnes Strong, father Kenneth Roy Strong, brothers Kevin and Stephen Strong. She is survived by her children Gina Barlow (James) and Anthony Graham (Erica), granddaughters McKenna Barlow, Peyton Barlow, and Isabelle Graham, grandson Joseph Graham, brothers Dennis Strong (Jackie), Jerry Strong (Susan), Terry Strong, Brian Strong (Debbie) and Randy Strong (Laurie).
A celebration of Life will be held at Grace United Methodist Church on Saturday January 15th. Visitation from 10-11 am with service to follow at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Carol would be greatly appreciated.
