Stanley Laut passed away on December 12, 2021. He was 93 years old. He passed from a short but tough fight with covid. He had lived in Huntsville, Alabama at the time of his passing. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Abraham Laut, Eva Kazanowitz , his step-father Sam Kazanowitz, his sister, Renee Kazanowitz and his brother-in-law Larry Kazanowitz. He is survived by his children, Arlene Laut, Steve Laut (Celeste) and his grandchildren, Michelle, Brandon and Richard.
He was a lifetime member of the masons and earned the Master Mason (32nd Degree) and was very proud of his red fez and his degree.
Stan was an aerospace and defense engineer and employed by many aerospace companies during the space race of the 60’s, and was quite proud of his contributions to the space race. Stan worked as a contractor and employee at Raytheon; and further worked as a consultant/contractor for several defense companies.
The love of his life was Laura, his wife of 71 years. In the last 6 years of their lives they rarely went anywhere without the other.
