Michael “Mike” L. Snitch age 44 of Madison, AL, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 16, 2021. Mike was born at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas on November 1, 1977 and was the son of W. Leonard and Ann Pauline (Saxton) Snitch. Mike also lived with his family in Panama and Seoul South Korea. An early talent in art resulted in several awards during his school years. He was a graduate of the University of Delaware and had worked at the General Motors Boxwood Road Plant in Wilmington, Delaware.
Mike was an avid marksman, hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending summers fishing at Slaughter Beach, Delaware.
Mike was predeceased by his grandparents Wilbert “Bill” L. and Agnes H. Snitch, William “Bill” J, Saxton and uncle Robert A. Snitch. His extended family included grandmother Alice J. Saxton, aunts and uncles Douglas Snitch and Melody Parker of Wilmington, Delaware, Anna Marie Snitch of Treasure Island Florida, William and Jeannette Smith of Bear, Delaware, Paul and Janice Matarese of Middletown Delaware, Joseph and Marie Saxton of Felton, Delaware, and Joanne Saxton of Wilmington Delaware. Cousins: Tommy (Arlene) Saxton of Wilmington, Delaware, Cheryl Saxton of Wilmington, Delaware, Brian Snitch of Treasure Island, FL, Brad Snitch of Wilmington Delaware, Todd (Nichole) Snitch of Wilmington, Delaware, Christopher (Joanne) Smith of Orlando, Florida, Kim Gonzon (Anthony) of Middletown, Lisa Braun (Eric) of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, Michelle Hall (Larry) of Townsend, Deborah Mikus (John) of Newark, Stephanie Saxton (Chris) of Bear, Anthony Saxton (Alicia) of Smyrna, Betty Cross (Cliff) of Bear Delaware and Harold I. Salmons III (Emily) of Wilmington, Delaware.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a mass following at 11:00 AM on December 23, 2021 at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church 1005 Hughes Rd Madison, AL. The interment and luncheon will follow at the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church Columbarium.
