Abigail Grace passed away at Huntsville Hospital on July 28, 2021. She had just celebrated her twenty-second birthday.
Abbi grew up in Madison and graduated high school in 2017. She recently enrolled to attend Calhoun Community College this fall to become a certified phlebotomist.
Growing up, Abbi had a passion for both soccer and music. She was very outspoken and often couldn’t resist being an advocate for others. Her infectious smile lit up the room, and she was known by her energetic, caring personality.
Abbi loved life! She enjoyed being around nature and particularly enjoyed a random picnic with her charcuterie board. With that and a fishing pole in her car, she was always ready for adventure and loved visiting nearby beaches and mountains. Fortunately, she was able to visit both in just the past few months.
Her quiet and artistic side came through reading, writing poetry, painting rocks, and enjoying multiple genres of music. She would also stop and yell Roll Tide! or Go Cowboys! at the TV during football season. Her humor was undeniable as she even admitted through a meme that she created, “Abigail – Always Late but Never Absent”.
Her greatest joy and accomplishment was being a momma to her precious 2 year old daughter, Elise Ciana who already sparkles with her momma’s contagious smile! Elise will no doubt infect others as she grows and shares her own love for life.
The fact that Abbi chose to be an organ donor very simply demonstrates her never-ending compassion toward others. Her memory and legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
