Mary Louise Childs Prichard, 83, of Harvest, AL, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Family Care.
Mrs. Prichard was born on January 28, 1938, to John Thomas Childs and Mildred Mary Selcer Childs in Falling Water, TN. She was a member of Madison United Methodist Church since 1970 and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for Huntsville Radio Service for 27 years.
Mary will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who always wore a smile. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will always refer to her as “NaNa”. She was positive, caring and kind to everyone. Her presence and voice would light up an entire room. Even in difficult times, she would always say, “the sun will shine again.” She will be forever missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Prichard is survived by her husband of 67 years, Bryson Leonard Prichard; her daughters, Grace Prichard Clark (Steve); Teresa Prichard Carroll (Barry); Marla Prichard Bradley (Michael) and Symantha Prichard Vinson (Carl); grandchildren Adam Clark; Kelly Clark Baugher (Justin); Wesley Clark (Jessica); Laura Beth Carroll Dixon (Jay); Mary Kathryn Carroll McGriff (James); Emily Grace Carroll Hoppes (Tyler); Troy Carter; Alana Carter; Tabitha Vinson and Mark Vinson; great grandchildren, Tyler Clark; Andy Clark; Emma Clark; Ellie Clark; Julia Baugher; Luke Baugher; Ella Kate Dixon and Sadie Grace Dixon.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and two grandsons, Danny Clark and Chris Clark.
A visitation will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison, AL on Friday, July 2nd, from 1:30 pm – 2:30 p.m. with funeral services following the visitation at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Isom’s Chapel UMC Cemetery in Athens, Alabama.
