Johnie Lynch

               Johnie June Blalock Butler Lynch died April 18, 2021.  Mrs. Lynch was born in Boaz, AL on June 3, 1927, to the late Omer and Sally May Blalock. Johnie, graduated from Boaz High School and then graduated from Snead State College where she was an outstanding cheerleader. Mrs. Lynch worked in several positions, but had a long time career as Administrative Assistant at Teledyne Brown Engineering in Huntsville, AL.      

               Mrs. Lynch was a member of The Table UMC church.  Johnie was a faithful member of her neighborhood Monday Night Bible study.   Mrs. Lynch is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, as well as a devoted friend. 

          Johnie is survived by three daughters, Diane (John) Walker of Valdosta, GA, Judy (Bill) Allen of Birmingham, AL , Dixie (Joe) Duncan of Madison, AL; stepdaughter Terri (James) Pierce of Madison, AL., grandchildren, Heather (Michael) Weesner of Madison, AL, Jennifer (Charles) Peace of Hahira, GA, Libby (Sloan) Craft of Hahira, GA, Jay (Abbie) Cardwell of Calera, GA, John Cardwell of Birmingham, AL, and Emily Duncan (Matthew Bozeman) of Madison, AL. Justin (Miranda) Lynch, Jessica (Richy) Foust, Kenneth Corbin III, Christopher G. (Amanda) Corbin,   Great grandchildren Caiden Weesner, Autumn and Harding Walker Peace, Janie Cardwell, Kayne Craft, Mira Lynch, Brianna, Brailey, and Adian Foust, Kristian Corbin along with several nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her husbands Joe F. Butler, and Grayham V. Lynch, parents, Omer and Sally May Blalock and siblings, Dixie Johnson, Robbie Smith, Elwyn Fitzpatrick, Marion Noel, Jean Blalock, Chessie Mason, Rheba Wilson, Geneva Ruth Blalock, Betty Otinger, Martha Jolley, and stepson, Ronald Grayham Lynch.
