On Friday, April 2, 2021, Stephen Johnson, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away at the age of 33.
Stephen was born in Huntsville, AL to Robert and Karen Johnson. He worked as a manager at Terranova's restaurant.
Stephen had a passion for grilling and cooking, often using his creativity to come up with new dishes. He was musically talented; he played several instruments including saxophone and percussion. He also had a great eye for photography. In his free time he enjoyed target shooting, video games, and playing with his pet dog and lizard.
He was most known for his big heart and thoughtful, generous spirit. He was a people person and could make a friend anywhere he went. He was beloved by family, friends, co-workers, and customers alike. His nicknames of "Big Guy" and "Squatch" described him perfectly.
Stephen is survived by his father, Robert, his mother, Karen, his sister, Emily, his brother-in-law, Paul, and his niece, Rebekah.
A drive-by visitation will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 CDT at the Madison Church of Christ in Madison, AL. Due to COVID concerns, the family requests that social distancing be maintained.
