The service has been moved due to the inclement weather. The new service will be Saturday Feb. 20th at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm and the service will follow at 1:00pm.
James “Jimmy” Edward Good, 57, went home to be with the Lord at Huntsville Hospital on the afternoon of February 7, 2021. He was born April 8, 1963, in Atlanta, GA, the son of Kuniko Kozai and James Houston Good.
Jim graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1985 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and later received a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from UAH. He married Melisa Good on May 24, 2003 in Huntsville, AL. Jim worked for Teledyne Brown Engineering supporting NASA as a payload coordinator and loved his job and the people he had the privilege of working with. Anyone that knew him, knew he was incredibly kindhearted and always ready to offer a smile or crack a joke. He had a magnetizing personality and a laugh that drew everyone to him. He had an immense passion for sports especially his Tennessee Volunteers, as he rarely missed a game in Neyland Stadium, where he was a season ticket holder for many years. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and great friend who will be tremendously missed by all he encountered.
Jim was predeceased by his father James.
In addition to his wife, Melisa McCombs Good, he is survived by his children Katie Good, Emily Rosic, Ethan Good, and Jonathan Good all of Madison, AL; Mother Kuniko Good of Chattanooga, TN; Sister, June Strange (Rusty), of Nashville, TN.
