Cynthia Sue Bolen Hawotte

November 18, 1950 — February 4, 2021

Cynthia Sue Hawotte passed away peacefully on Thursday February 4, 2021. She was surrounded by her loving family in her home. Cremation rites have been accorded per her wishes. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Sue was born on November 18, 1950 in Moline, IL, to William and Irma Hawotte. She married Joe, the love of her life, on March 6, 1996 in San Antonio, TX. She enjoyed 25 years of marriage.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing puzzles, and working in the garden. Sue loved to craft and was truly an artist when it came to string art. She was a loving caregiver to her great nieces Riley and Reagan Hawotte before she moved to AL in 2017. Sue was very active in her catholic faith. She was a member at Most Merciful Jesus Catholic Church where she was well loved by many.

 Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Joe, daughter Cari, grandchildren Zachary and Samantha, brothers Bill (Kay) Hawotte Jr., Daniel (Barbara) Hawotte,  sister Judy Hawotte, and brother Rick (Patti) Hawotte. She was preceded in death by her parents.
