Mickey Holt Harless

July 3, 1961 — January 17, 2021

Mickey Harless passed away on January 17, 2021 due to complications from COVID. He is preceded in death by his parents Norman H Harless Jr. and Bille Sue Hedrick Harless. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rebecca Gardner Harless and his son, Parker Harless, both of Madison, AL. His mother-in-law, Bonnie “Booma” Gardner of Alexandria, AL. Two sisters, Lori Henderson of Leesburg, FL and Erin Cohen of Athens, GA. 3 brother-in-laws, 3 sister-in laws, nephews, J.T. Leatherwood, Charley Gray, Stephen Blevins, Noah Cohen, and a niece, Sarah Blevins as well as many countless other beloved family members and a plethora (as Mickey would say) of friends.

Mickey worked as a project manager in telephone communications for more than 40 years and he enjoyed his job and cherished his co-workers.

Mickey was very active in music ministry and was an accomplished bass player and guitarist and was a gifted tenor vocalist. He loved to play and sing. He would often say, “Nobody leaves this place without singing the blues”. We will miss his light-hearted spirit.
