Michael John Sharp

A Celebration of Life Ceremony for Michael John Sharp, 50, will be Friday, September 11th, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.  at Legacy Chapel in Madison, Alabama.  He passed away on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020, at Huntsville Hospital.  He was born to Melody Brucato and Rick Sharp in Chicago, Illinois on January 7, 1970.  He married Robin Summerford in October 1997 and they raised a beautiful daughter, Holly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rick and mother, Melody.  He is survived by his wife, Robin and his daughter Holly.  He also leaves behind his brothers Keith (Tammy), Kevin (Candance), Alan Miller (Rae) and sisters Candy Miller and Carolyn Nash along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike was a fun-loving, jolly, kind-hearted, laid back, selfless, a prankster and a protector.  He loved his dogs, StarCraft computer game, and Marvels, DC, Star Wars and Transformers movies.  He was a die-hard Cheesehead (even a stockholder of the Packers).  One of his favorite pastimes was watching his daughter play softball.

One of his regrets in life would have been not perfecting his rib sauce.  For the past year, he had been working every weekend mixing different sauces.  His wife and daughter were his biggest taste testers and fans.

He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed tremendously.
