Rafael Quintana

Rafael Quintana, 84, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on August 15, 2020. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ramona Quintana, father, Alfredo Quintana and mother, Agustina Quintana. He is survived by his son, Rafael Quintana, Jr. (wife Cheryl), and his daughter, Rebeca Quintana Hilton (husband Darryl) and several brothers and sisters. His grandchildren are Megan Quintana, Zachary Quintana (wife McKenzie), Joshua Hilton, Alicia Hilton Stever (husband Bart) and Caleb Hilton. He has two great-grandchildren, Bentleigh Quintana and Briar Quintana. Rafael was born in Surgidero de Batabano, Havana, Cuba where he grew up with 4 brothers and 5 sisters. He and Ramona brought their family to the United States in 1970 and settled in Marietta, Georgia where they lived until 2017 when they relocated to Huntsville, Alabama. Rafael was a carpenter-craftsman for over 50 years, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a faithful believer who loved the Lord and was a member of Smyrna First Baptist Church in Smyrna, Georgia. His family is blessed and comforted to know that he is at peace and at home with the Lord.
