Jane Bradley Wilbanks, 85, a Madison resident since 1958, passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2020. She was born on October 15, 1934 near Rogersville, AL. to Leo and Lillie Pettus Bradley.
Jane was a treasured and loving wife, mother, nana, cousin and aunt. She was a devoted member of the Madison Church of Christ and she also loved her Lexington Church of Christ family. Jane rooted for the Auburn Tigers and the Atlanta Braves. She enjoyed dinner parties, bird watching, flowers, and baking for her loved ones. She was a 1953 graduate of Lexington High School and attended Florence State before moving to Huntsville to work at Redstone Arsenal.
Jane is survived by her husband, Burwell “Sonny” Wilbanks, daughter Jane Ellen Kennedy and her husband Alan of East Limestone, son Brian Wilbanks Sr., and his wife Emily of Hartselle; 3 grandchildren, B.J. Wilbanks, Drew Kennedy, and Gracie Wilbanks Machado.
