Shirley Shelton

On July 27, 2019 Shirley Shelton passed away at her home at the age of 84 surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Bobby Shelton, her children Janet Yeager (Tim), Keith Parker (Carolyn), and Tim Parker, Ginger Hart (Jim) and Amy Westdorp (Mike); her grandchildren Candy Edwards (Brian), Steven Yeager, Joey Yeager, Julie Yeager Fernandez (Kevin), Emily Parker, Tyler Carver (Carla), Michael Westdorp, Mark Westdorp; and her great grandchildren Jackson Edwards and Annie Edwards. 

Shirley was originally from Moulton, Alabama and she retired from Saginaw General Motors in 1993. She was a strong woman of faith who loved the Lord. She enjoyed going to the beach, traveling with Bob in their motorhome, and being a mother and grandmother. She was a gentle spirit with a kind and loving heart.

The funeral will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison, Alabama on July 30, 2019. Visitation will begin at 10 am and the funeral will be held at 11 am. There will be a burial service following the funeral service at Huntsville Memory Gardens. Lunch will be provided after the burial at Harvest Baptist Church in Harvest, Alabama. 

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to Kindred Hospice (Huntsville, Alabama).
