Paul E. McIntosh Sr.

March 22, 1946 — April 30, 2019

Paul Eugene McIntosh, Sr., passed away on April 30, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was 73.  The memorial service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home in Madison, Alabama on Friday, May 3 at 3pm.  Visitation will begin at 2pm. 

 

Paul was born in Wing, Alabama on March 22, 1946 to the late Eugene C. McIntosh and Grace E. Kennedy.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his twin sister, Peggy.  Paul was a graduate of Dothan High School and Troy State University.  He began his 30 year career with GTE in 1969.  He was involved with the Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club, and Parents Anonymous Child Abuse Prevention.  Upon retirement, he and his wife, Judy, relocated to Madison, Alabama to be near his son and family.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Madison. 

 

Paul is survived by his wife, Judith Ann, a son, Paul Eugene McIntosh Jr. (Emily), grandsons, Alexander Nathan McIntosh and Ian Paul McIntosh, a sister, Sue Ann Odom, and several nieces and nephews.

 

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Shriners in Greenville, South Carolina or St. Jude in Memphis, Tennessee.
