Joseph John Inteso

December 16, 1961 — February 7, 2019

Joseph J. Inteso, 57 died February 7, 2019 from a sudden illness while vacationing on a cruise. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia, his daughter Christina Marie, and his brother and sister, Anthony C Inteso, Jr. and Nancy Marie Malool.

Joseph is predeceased by his parents, Anthony C. Inteso and Carol Ann Inteso.

Joe was born December 16, 1961 in Newark, NJ and spent his early years in Edison and Toms River NJ. As a young man, he was very involved in scouting and achieved level of Eagle Scout of which he was very proud.  He earned a Bachelors degree in Electronic Engineering from Fairleigh Dickenson University and a Masters degree is Software Engineering from Monmouth University. Joe’s career of thirty-one years with the U.S. Army was located primarily at Fort Monmouth NJ but also supported assignments all over the globe.   He relocated to Redstone Al in 2007 until his retirement in 2017. Since 2007, Joe and his wife Cindi have been living in Harvest, Al.

Joe loved to travel, especially to Aruba where he met up with his friends every November; he always had another trip on the horizon.  He enjoyed his ice-box seats (and all of his hockey friends) at the Huntsville Havoc hockey games. He was an avid fan of the NY Giants and of the Alabama Crimson Tide.  He loved country music, reading, candy-crush, and Kakuro.  Joe also supported the local no-kill animal shelter from which two of his dogs were adopted
