JoAnn Price Longshore

JoAnn Price Longshore, Beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. After a ten-year battle with breast cancer, JoAnn went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 30^th, 2018.  She was born to Ralph and Lorene Price on June 23^rd, 1948.  She was married for 46 years to her beloved husband, Billy Longshore who proceeded her death. Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters: Lorie Longshore, Sarah Longshore-Hayes (Joel), and Beth Longshore-Bunner (Ronnie).  She also left to cherish her memory four beautiful grandchildren who called her “YaYa”, Sydney, Payton, Chance, and Easton.  She also leaves her sister Margaret Kendall (Johnny), her nephew Sam Kendall , her niece Christy Kendall, her best friend Kathy Hale, and so many more close friends and loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation of your choice to maybe to the Russel Hill Cancer Foundation, Kathleen and Philip Dotts Scholarship Fund or the Botanical Garden Foundation in her honor.  A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday December 9^th at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison Alabama.  Visitation with the family will begin at 2:00 PM CST with the Service to follow at 3:00 PM CST.  Pastor Alan Weatherly will be officiating. 

The family would like to thank Dr Brian Mathews, Shandry Peugeot, Melanie Sisulak and the rest of the staff at CCI, the Huntsville Hospital CCU II team of nurses and doctors, the Huntsville Hospital Hospice Team, and the FirstLight Home Care Team.
