Jean Cass Millimaki

Jean Cass Millimaki, 80, of Madison, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2018 at her residence in Madison.  She is preceded in death by her husband Wayne D. Millimaki, and her parents William and Dorothy Cass of Ryde, Isle of Wight, England.

Mrs. Millimaki is survived by her son, Steven Wayne Millimaki (Lynne) of Madison, daughter, Sharon Monk (Don) of Madison, grandchildren, Josh Millimaki (Jennifer), Jamie Millimaki (Angela Young), and Katie Watkins (Cody), great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Paislee, and Rubee Millimaki, Kypten, Remington and Liam Watkins, brother, Roy Cass (Jane) of Ryde, Isle of Wight, England, her extended family Sean Gooch, his daughters Devin and Erin Gooch, Apryl Couch, her sons Andres’ Baron (daughter Alina) and Taylor Couch (Carley and daughter Amber), Allison Lucas (Todd) her daughters Evie, Lorelei, Ophelia and Hyacinth Lucas, along with many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

She married her husband in 1958 in her hometown of Ryde, Isle of Wight England and moved to Ishpeming, Michigan in 1959.  Her two children were born in Ishpeming, Michigan before moving to Madison, Alabama in 1963. Jean worked at Madison Elementary School as a lunchroom worker for over thirty years which she loved until she retired.  She loved spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed knitting.
