Myroslaw Futala

Myroslaw Lew Futala, age 64, went to be with the Lord early on the morning of August 21st, 2018 surrounded by his family. He left behind his loving wife, Myra B. Futala as well as many friends and family.

He was a world renowned jeweler with a Ukrainian heritage. He traveled the world; however, he fell in love with Alabama and then settled in Huntsville. There he designed jewelry with great passion and met, then proceeded to marry, the love of his life.

Myroslaw was proceeded in death by his father, Lew Futala, grandparents, and other aunts and uncles. He was survived by his wife, Myra Futala, mother Helena Futala, brother Bohdan Futala (Martha), niece Adriana Futala, stepchildren Kevin Upton (Joann) and Jessica Upton (Dylan), and many step-grandchildren as well as a host of friends and former business associates.

He will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace in the arms of his Savior as a treasured husband, stepfather, grandfather, and caring friend.
