William Andrew Lusk, 61, of Madison, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018. He was a dearly loved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, LuAnn Harris Lusk, son William Taylor Lusk and daughter in law, Erin Paige Lusk of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina and daughter Laura Frances Lusk of Madison, Alabama. He also leaves behind a brother James B. Lusk of Chattanooga Tn., Elizabeth Miller of Nashville Tn. and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Buckner Ingram, stepfather, Judge Joe M. Ingram and father, William Peyton Lusk of Columbia, Tennessee.
Bill graduated from The University of Tennessee with a degree in architecture and had a long career at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center. He was recently awarded an MSFC Certificate of Appreciation Honor Award for his work in using remote aerial photography for assessing conditions of NASA facilities. He had a love for photography and used his talents photographing varsity basketball teams at Bob Jones and James Clemens High Schools in Madison, Al. Bill was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
A memorial service at Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison is scheduled for Sunday, July 8th at 2:00pm with visitation beginning at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clearview Cancer Center, 3601 CCI Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35805.
