Katsuyuki Yanagihara

Katsuyuki (Steven) Yanagihara, 65, of Madison, AL. passed away on Thursday, April 19^th. He leaves behind his loving wife, Debra Yanagihara, who celebrated their 37^th wedding anniversary the following day with their children, Ted & Adare Yanagihara and Kathryn & Dustin Riddle. In the United States, he is also survived by his grandchildren, Nate & Charlie Yanagihara and Raynie & Hayden Riddle.  Steve was born on October 1^st, 1952 in the town of Matama in the Oita Prefecture on the southern island of Kyushu in Japan. In Japan, he is survived by his mother, Michie, his older sister, Makiko, his younger brother, Youichi, and his aunt, Sanae. Across both countries, he will be remembered by his father-in-law, mother-in-law, countless nieces, nephews, friends, and those who were touched by his kind heart, everlasting strength, and selfless dedication to his family.
