George Edward LeCroix

January 13, 1950 — February 21, 2018

George Edward LeCroix, 68, of Decatur AL. passed away February 21, 2018.

Eddie was born in Belle Mina, Al and graduated from Tanner High School.  He then served in the United States Navy as a gunner’s mate 3rd class from 1968-1971. After leaving the Navy, he met and married Sharon, his beloved wife of nearly 46 years. He then attended Calhoun Community College where he received his Associate degree in Applied Science-Electricity. During his career he worked for Intergraph Corp. as head of the electrical department and was the in house electrical contractor. After which time, he started his own company, Electrical Services, Inc. which he and Sharon owned and operated until his retirement. Eddie was a long-time member of Central United Methodist Church where he served on the building committee during the church’s expansion, the Trustee committee, and the United Methodist District Office of Church Location and Property.  He also was faithfully devoted to the loving brothers of his 5:30 daily prayer meeting.  But of all his accomplishments, he is most proud of his children and grandchildren.

Eddie was preceded in death by his father John David LeCroix.
