Oliver Wong Sing, 87, of Madison passed away on Friday January 26, 2018 at Huntsville Hospital.
Mr. Wong Sing was born January 18, 1931 in Trinidad. In 1952 he married Cynthia Murrell and together they had 12 children. He was a parishioner of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
His first career interest was in Agricultural Studies, so he attended the University of West Indies. After moving to the United States, he changed his career and went back to school and completed his degree in Accounting. He went on to work for the United States Government as an IRS Agent.
Mr. Wong Sing was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Carmelitte Wong Sing; son, Gary Wong Sing and daughter, Alicia Daniel
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Cynthia Wong Sing; children, David (Ann) Wong Sing; Noeline (Patrick) Carter; Richard (Joycelyn) Wong Sing; Bianca (Roy) Caraballo; Colin (Laura) Wong Sing; Yolande (Archie) Snowden; Leslie (Anthony) Smith; Sean Wong Sing; Nigel (Karen) Wong Sing; Roger Wong Sing (Tanisha Coley); Veda (Rodrick) Womack; Alana Daniel (Brian Prince); 28 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren.
